For countless years this iconic distance has been on the bucket list of many walkers, runners, cyclists & more looking to complete this historic 874 mile route. Typically this challenge requires significant planning, time and money to take part, however our virtual challenge removes all of those barriers.
Our LEJOG 2021 virtual challenge allows you to complete this iconic distance from the comfort of your own surroundings. Whether it's a training run, race or even just a family walk you can clock up the miles as part of your day to day exercise.
Choose from either running solo or sharing the distance with you and up to 3 running friends.
As a solo entrant you have the choice of completing 1 of 4 distance goals.
In addition to our fantastic finisher medal & tech-tee you have the option to add a personalised A4 print, a child LEJOG entry & even get your dog involved too. (no really!).
From January 1st 2021 you can begin working towards your distance goal for the year.
Once you've completed your target distance, let us know and we'll get your goodies sent out.
For anyone that fancies going it alone you have the choice of 4 distances to choose from.
If you'd prefer to share the 874 miles with a friend then this option is for you. It's up to you how you split the miles.
If you'd prefer to share the 874 miles with 2 friends then this option is for you. It's up to you how you split the miles.
If you'd prefer to share the 874 miles with 3 friends then this option is for you. It's up to you how you split the miles.
For those who want to stay true to the original ( LEJOG) Land's End to John O'Groats distance.
Feeling a bit adventurous then why not make your way back to Land's End.
For those who think they can consistently clock just over 50 miles a week.
The ultimate virtual challenge named after our good friend Nick who never stops running and was able to complete our LEJOG 2020 virtual challenge before the end of February!
Why not grab yourself a bespoke print as the perfect reminder of your LEJOG virtual challenge. Each print is personalised with your full name, distance and number of days taken to complete your challenge. Printed on high quality matte photo paper they look great in any frame with or without a border.
If you don't want your kids missing out we now have the option to add a child entry. Instead of the full 874 miles they only have to complete 10% of the distance (87.4 Miles) to earn themselves their very own LEJOG medal. It's a great way to keep all the family active.
We know there are loads of you out there who love running with your dog. With that in mind we wouldn't want them to feel left out, so why not add a LEDOG bandana to your order so they can celebrate the achievement with you,
As soon as the clock strikes midnight you can begin your target distance for the year. You'll then have the entire year to complete your LEJOG virtual challenge to be eligible for your goodies.
To keep an eye on all those miles throughout the year we recommend using any sports tracking app, although our personal recommendation would be to use Strava or Garmin Connect.
As this virtual challenge starts at the beginning of the calendar year the majority of these apps will keep a year-to-date log of your progress, making it nice and easy to track.
Make sure to follow us on Facebook as we will be providing you with monthly LEJOG updates to help keep you on track and motivated throughout the year.
Once you have completed your target distance as part of this virtual challenge please submit your proof via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
A screenshot detailing your year-to-date mileage is sufficient, alternatively you can send us a link to your
Strava Profile and we can check your mileage on there for you.
*Please note your profile must not be private if you decide to submit your proof this way.
Now that you've completed your virtual challenge we think you deserve a good old fashioned rest whilst we prepare your goodies to be sent.
Once you have received your goodies be sure to share your success on social media. Don't forget to tag @racedcoaching and use hashtag #lejog2021 so we can celebrate with you!
